Pregnancy pictures

The process of choosing a photographer becomes more difficult than usual when you're not after the usual family or wedding portrait. If you're looking for someone who could capture you at your pregnant best, not just any photographer would do.

While the flurry of flashbulbs often beings the minute the baby's born, the nine months previous to the little one's birth shouldn't be overlooked as an important journey on it's own. While some pregnant mommies may shy away from the camera during this time because they don't want pictures of their ever growing body, many women look back on this time with fondness and even show their kids what mommy looked like while carrying their little selves.

You've got the digital camera taking your own pregnant belly pictures, but a professional photogragher will make some beautiful pictures for your baby belly book. Consider including siblings, if any, your partner, and take pregnancy pictures that aren't so "traditional". Strip down and wrap up in white robe, or guaze - with a dark background, this is beautiful. Siblings touching or kissing baby belly makes for a touching moment. And your partners hands on your belly, speak love. Of course, studio pictures are best towards the end of pregnancy, but don't wait too long either!

Prepare for the event by planning every pregnancy portrait carefully. You want to carefully analyze what type of poses would be memorable within this pregnancy portrait. Listen to Mom but be ready to add in your own professional advice. Carefully plan on weather conditions and the type of environment in which you will be shooting if the photos are being taken outdoors.

Pregnancy is a time to celebrate. It is also the perfect time to begin a scrapbook about your beautiful little baby. Here are some pregnancy scrapbook page ideas to get your creative juices flowing. You and your baby will cherish the memories you capture in your album.

Schedule your photo shoot for between weeks 31 and 36 if possible. Your belly may be too small before then. Of course, you don't want to risk running out of time, either.
About two hours before your photo shoot, remove any clothing or accessories with elastic. Such items as bras, pants with elastic waistbands, even socks, leave marks on your skin that will show up in your pictures.

During my pregnancy I didn't really have the desire to have my pregnancy-photos taken, I really wish I would have made more time to get them done. If you're anything like me, you're usually the one holding the camera. Make sure to give the camera to hubbie so he can get the shots you can't.

Memorize everything through pictures or photos during pregnancy time are really a wonderful moment. Once you deliver your baby, your body will be going back to its normal size, and you will miss your big belly. Therefore, make picture of yourself during pregnancy is so exciting. You will be surprised that you have so wonderful body when pregnant.

Ensure that you and your maternity photographer discuss the overall style of pictures you want. Do you want to wear your clothes during the photo shoot? Do you want to show your skin on the photos? Is someone else going to be in the pregnancy photography session with you such as the father of your child or a beloved family member?

Prepare for the event by planning every pregnancy portrait carefully. You want to carefully analyze what type of poses would be memorable within this pregnancy portrait. Listen to Mom but be ready to add in your own professional advice. Carefully plan on weather conditions and the type of environment in which you will be shooting if the photos are being taken outdoors.

If you'd like to finally avoid gaining excess pregnancy weight, get fit to deliver so you can enjoy an easy labor and lose your pregnancy weight quickly after delivery without all the drama of stretch marks, nausea, fatigue and misery, then this might be the most important letter you'll ever read.
Pregnant women have so many questions regarding their ever changing body's.

1 Look for a pregnancy photographer who understands the essence of pregnancy. Don't consider gender or marital status as an indication that your photographer understands what pregnancy means. Having kids doesn't quite make the cut either. Understanding the essence of pregnancy, seeing the beauty of it and recognizing the glow of pregnant women is primarily dependent on the individual's perspective of pregnancy regardless of who he is.

As early as about 8 weeks along in the pregnancy, you can use these scans to see things such as leg and arm movement, including kicking and waving. Once you get to about 10 weeks, these leg and arm movements become much more agile. As they begin to have better movement, you will be able to get a more clear picture of the baby. These are all things that you can see during the first trimester.

Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy
Now Playing: Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy, Very Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy, Symptoms Of Pregnancy
Topic: Pregnancy
If you have been tracking your period every month and you are usually pretty regular the absence of your period is a pretty good indicator that something is going on. Women who are not attempting to get pregnant and who are currently on birth control are certainly not immune to pregnancy as no birth control except for abstinence is fail-safe. Any missed period merits the purchase of a home pregnancy test, just to be sure.

The body's basal temperature (the lowest body temperature that happens during rest) begins to elevate after ovulation, and stays elevated beyond your next expected period. Ovulation is when a mature egg is released from the ovary and pushed down the fallopian tube and is ready to be fertilized by a sperm. The implantation of a fertilized egg normally takes place 6 to 12 days after ovulation - that's about two to three weeks before the next period is missed.

The most important sign of pregnancy is a missed period. Of course, it could also happen due to some transient hormonal fluctuation in the body or due to some kind of stress. If that is the case, your normal period would occur within the next 10 days of its expected due date. If that does not happen either, then you should think of a possible pregnancy.

There are several minor changes physically as well as mentally indicating that you have conceived, owing to hormonal changes. Missing a period is one of the symptoms but you may also miss a period for several other reasons including stress. One initial sign is spotting that is bleeding due to implantation of the egg. Here the egg is implanted in the lining of the uterus. However, this spotting is much lighter than a menstrual cycle and often mistaken as the beginning of a period.

Similar to breasts preparing for motherhood, nipples also undergo a slight transformation. They may appear larger or darker, clearly indicating the beginning of new life but they will return back to their original shape and color after delivery.

Abdominal cramps during early pregnancy are a normal happening that all women experience. A more serious problem is when you are suffering lower abdominal pain. Then it is best that you consult your physician. It is not uncommon for many women to suffer the lower cramps which are referred to as sporadic abdominal discomfort. These sporadic abdominal cramps are similar to those pain felt during a normal period. It is a sign that your uterus is preparing to carry your baby through the next nine months. If you are suffering the pains with other symptoms then you will need to immediately contact your physician.

The period of pregnancy may be challenging for there are several pregnancy signs and symptoms. It becomes easier to deal with the situation when you know what to expect. It is important to educate yourself about the dos and don’ts and common symptoms of pregnancy. If you want to get into more serious ways of checking some early pregnancy signs you want to go with a few common and well-known pregnancy symptoms.

Chemical Pregnancy
Topic: Pregnancy

Singulair is a leucotriene (a chemical that cause inflammation during asthma and allergy) receptor blocker, which is functioning as an asthma symptoms reliever. Singulair has been known to have some mild side effects such as ear infections, headache or sore throat. However, the side effect of taking Singulair during pregnancy has been a subject of researches for sometimes. And until now, there are no possitive signs that taking Singulair during pregnancy could risk the pregnancy or the fetus.

The first sign that you will get when you are pregnant is that you will be having morning sickness. Actually, this term of morning sickness is misleading, sickness could affect the pregnant ladies at any time, it may be in the early morning or in the noon or evening, it may also happen in the midnight too. It will usually happen during the first three stages of pregnancy and usually you need not suffer with it from the sixth month of the pregnancy

Female thinning hair is very common after pregnancy. You may have noticed that when you were still pregnant, your hair had become thicker, fuller, shinier, and softer. This is because of increased estrogen levels in the body during pregnancy. After giving birth, estrogen levels return to normal. The change in estrogen levels can cause up to sixty percent to fall out within the first two or three months after pregnancy. Most women do not find it noticeable, or a bother. Other experience extreme hair loss that damages their self esteem as well as their confidence as they are caring for their new baby.

The birth of your baby offers a unique opportunity to change unhealthy eating habits. You have a few extra pounds that you are determined to lose. Persistence combined with basic nutritional knowledge will help you lose your excess baby weight and regain your beautiful pre-pregnancy figure. However, as a busy mum, an eating plan that is easy to implement is a must.

Heightened sensitivity to odors. You may notice that certain odors can cause you to feel sick or trigger a gag reflex, even if they normally wouldn’t do so. This may be caused by increasing levels of estrogen in your body

Once you decide to opt for hair loss pills, the very next question that comes to your mind is "Which is the best pill for me?"... The pills that have a very high content of palmetto are known to be the best ones to block the DHT element and thereby putting an end to your hair falling out problems. It is also known to be an anti-androgen that can treat hair lthinning effectively. Again, hair loss pills for men are different than that of women. Pills like Propecia are believed to be beneficial for treating baldness in men.

It goes on forever. I think most people assume (I certainly did) that you collapse in a big pile of blood for a few hours, and then it's all over. But no. It takes days, sometimes weeks, for it all to come out. And modern scanning techniques mean you often know (as we did) it's going to happen before it actually happens.

Avoid Pain During Pregnancy

The pain in the ovary can be an incident of one time or it will be a severe problem that may indicate it as a serious one. The pregnant women and all those women who want to become pregnant should converse with their physician about their pain for getting a very good treatment.

During pregnancy, your body produces a hormone called relaxin. This is generated specifically to prepare your body for childbirth. Muscles and ligaments are loosened and relaxed, and your ribs are allowed to expand outward. This alone can cause pain and discomfort. However, as with any other type of back pain, there are some simple ways to prevent it, and provide relief once you have it.

Try to wear loose clothing so that you do not add any extra pressure to your belly. Try getting a new bra. It is especially important to have a supportive bra that is not too tight. Under wire bras may put too much extra pressure on your ribs. Now may be a good time to invest in a good nursing bra. They usually offer nice support without being too tight and will be useful once your baby is born.

Abdominal cramps during early pregnancy unfortunately can occasionally mean that you are about to have a miscarriage. Typically, the symptoms for a miscarriage are bleeding that might be light or heavy, menstrual cramps that gradually increase in intensity. Some women suffer from back pain. If any of these symptoms arise please contact your physician immediately.

If the cyst gets to be quite large it can twist on itself. This can be painful and will often necessitate a surgical procedure to remove the cyst. This shouldn't harm the baby or adversely affect the pregnancy in any way, but if it can be avoided then it should be during a pregnancy. It may become medically necessary to remove when the ovarian cyst is larger than 6 to 8 cm, unless spontaneous shrinkage occurs.

Some additional benefits realized by chiropractic care are controlling symptoms of morning sickness, reducing labor and delivery time, avoiding a potential caesarean section, relieving back, neck and joint pain, and bringing about a healthier pregnancy in general. Additionally, if a baby is in the breech position, the Webster Technique can be used to establish balance in the pelvis and make it possible for the baby to turn to the correct position.

Meditation is a part of yoga. Meditation is the way to develop a favorable mindset which is very much necessary in this period. Because the happiness of the mother-to-be has great influence in the positive growth of the fetus. So, yoga or meditation helps to develop a positive attitude by controlling any kind of mood-swings and thus it creates a balance in the mind. Yoga music plays a very important role here.

It could be a sign of urinary tract infection, as well known as UTI. It can be treated by medication and drinking a lots of water. A urinary tract infection is not something to be worry about. it is very common illness during pregnancy. The growing belly pushes against your ureters and makes it more difficult for them to flow through. This can induce urinary tract infection. A different way to find out if you get urinary tract infection is if you get a foul odor while you pee.

Pregnancy can be an extraordinary experience for a woman. It is far more than growing a baby and dealing with issues like fatigue. Pregnancy has a huge emotional, mental, spiritual, and energetic side to it. The more you understand these aspects, the easier and less symptomatic your pregnancy will be. Learning how to connect with the emotions of your unborn child will allow you to enhance your pregnancy experience and surrender to its normal physiological process of pregnancy headaches.

How to Treat Acne in Pregnancy

With many of the topical and systemic medications for acne available over the counter, the concern on how best to treat acne in pregnancy, without causing adverse effects for the mother and the fetus, has become an important issue.

When a woman gets pregnant, there are a number of hormonal changes that take place in the body. The increase in certain hormones in the first trimester of pregnancy leads to the formation of acne.

Post the delivery of the baby, this skin problem reduces to a great extent in women who did not have any acne problem prior to conceiving.

Tretinoin is one of the most common retinoids that are used to treat acne. Tretinoin clears the upper layer of the skin by peeling it off. Tretinoin gives very good results in acne treatment and in improvement of skin. But being a Vitamin A derivative, it cannot be used during pregnancy. All other retinoids also cannot be used.

Does that mean you have to grin and bear the acne for three, four, or five months? No way! Topical medications like Benzoyl peroxide or Azelaic acid are typically safe to use during pregnancy. Oral medications, however, should be avoided during pregnancy, with the exception of oral erythromycin, which your doctor may prescribe if your acne is severe.

The fact remains, though, if you do suffer from acne, you need to find the solutions and ointments and treatments that work for you. Just as everyone is different and not everyone suffers from acne breakouts, so too are the medications--some work for some people while they do nothing or little for others.

Next is to be sure to be drinking a minimum of 8 pints of water a day, the water will naturally help with detoxing the body which helps aid in having clear supple skin. Substitute teas and coffees with Green Teas, these are high in anti-oxidants and will also help with detoxification, but more importantly you are eliminating your caffeine consumption.

While it won't make the sufferer feel any better while dealing with acne during pregnancy, it is normally temporary and will clear up after the baby's birth and hormone levels return to pre-pregnancy levels. In cases where it does not clear up, once the pregnancy is over, medications can then be prescribed to clear up acne.

You may also consider refraining from taking oral acne treatments during pregnancy, specially those medications with higher dosages of vitamin A since this may threaten the life of your unborn child. These medications may cause congenital defects, learning disabilities, and physical deformities.

Another thing you can do is drink plenty of water, you should aim to consume around 8 glasses per day, you may be wondering why? Well, by drinking water, you will flush out the toxins in your body, via your kidneys, that would otherwise have been secreted through your skin pores, causing further acne outbreaks.

A pregnant woman has enough to worry about without having to worry about her skin. This is why curing acne during pregnancy eliminates that worry and allows the woman get on with the most important job in the world, bringing her baby into the love and care of her family.

Effects Of Smoking During Pregnancy

Let me start by saying that some activities you should avoid during your pregnancy. The effects of smoking during pregnancy showed by studies are definitely one on those activities. Smoking during pregnancy is a very bad choice. You risk the nightmare of having a stillborn baby, to suffer a miscarriage, or to deliver a low birth-weight baby. Sudden death syndrome referred to as SIDS is a condition whereby a perfectly healthy baby dies unexpectedly during sleep.

But more than that, it can also harm the health of both mother and baby. Currently, in the United States alone, almost 10% of women smoke during pregnancy. This is an alarming fact since a stick of cigarette contains more than 2,500 chemicals that can be harmful to the developing fetus.

Smoking has been linked to various pregnancy complications. Women who smoke have a greater chance of having an ectopic pregnancy, whereby the embryo becomes implanted in the fallopian tube or any other abnormal place outside the uterus. In most cases, this type of pregnancy does not come to full term. A surgical procedure or drug treatment is usually recommended in order to protect the woman's life.

Taking it one step further, consider what the effects of smoking during pregnancy are on both the mother and the child. The effects range from mild to very extreme. Also, the effects of smoking during pregnancy, has negative repercussions not only on the baby but has continual implications through childhood and possibly into adulthood.

Before they even have the chance to fend for themselves outside the womb, babies that have been exposed to smoke directly or from second-hand smoke are at risk for being born underweight or with smaller head circumference. They are also more prone to having episodes of apnoea or Baby Crib Death, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Not to mention the risks to the child's health during the pregnancy.

Smokers are three times more likely to have smaller babies. On average, babies born to smokers are around 200g lighter than those born to non-smokers. Low birth weight babies run a higher risk of death and disease in infancy and early childhood.

Smoking during pregnancy can lead to severe and even deadly complications during the pregnancy. A woman's risk of developing placenta problems is nearly doubled if she smokes cigarettes. The problems include placenta previa, in which a low-lying placenta covers part of all of the opening to the uterus, and placental abruption, in which the placenta becomes detached partially or completely from the uterine wall before delivery.

As if these potential risks to your unborne child weren't enough, cigarettes don't stop there. You also face problems in your own body. Any mother who thinks a smaller child may be better for birth will be suprised to learn their smoking habit can greatly disrupt normal birthing. It does this through Placenta Previa and Placental Abruption. In the former, your placenta changes position to cover most or all of the opening in your uterus.

Nicotine Replacement - There is a debate whether nicotine replacement therapies are safe are not during pregnancy? The nicotine replacement therapies are nicotine patches, nicotine gums, nicotine nasal spray, and nicotine inhaler. Consult your doctor on replacement therapies.

Depression During Pregnancy

Depression during pregnancy is a health condition that needs to be paid attention in order to ensure a healthy pregnancy without any complications to the mother and the child. It is a fact that nearly 10%-20% of pregnant women are afflicted with depression. The cause of depression in pregnant women is attributed to hormonal imbalances that change the brain chemistry during pregnancy.

Just a few years ago, doctors thought that your body produced chemicals that helped with depression while you're pregnant. In reality, it's the opposite: Depression during pregnancy often happens as a result of hormonal imbalances caused by your pregnancy, because your body needs to prepare for the oncoming baby.

Worrying thoughts about yourself and the baby can make you feel stressed about the well-being of your baby. You probably already know about new findings stating that everything that you experience also the baby will. As a result you start feeling guilty that makes the situation even worse.

Common theory has held that pregnancy creates a wholly new "hormonal mix" that typically "protects" women during pregnancy. However, a number of women are "falling through the cracks" and don't conform to this theory. So, what's contributing to depression in pregnancy? Usual suspects include hormones, stress, health, money matters, kids and husbands, a recent period of infertility.

Pregnancy is a life-altering event that can cause women to feel anxious, scared and often stressed. Prenatal depression seems to be increased in the first trimester, suggesting it is the time of maximum vulnerability. Experts believe that the rapid increase in hormone levels at the start of pregnancy can disrupt brain chemistry and lead to depression.

Depression in pregnancy results from the hormonal secretion in the mother’s body which is required to support the development of baby. There are several external factors which lead pregnant women to feel depressed. other These factors can be the levels of stress arising from health matters, finances required to support the pregnancy treatment and the baby after delivery, other kids, relationship with the spouse and other family members, previous experience of infertility etc.

Possible triggers of depression during pregnancy include marital problems, abuse or trauma and stressful events. Other probable causes are previous pregnancy loss, complications in pregnancy as well as family or personal history of the condition. When you feel like you are struggling with the condition, it is important for you to seek help. Treatment can involve the use of medications and psychotherapy. There are also support groups that can help you to overcome the situation.

If the depression in the women is severe then medication treatment is preferred. Only those medicines are prescribed which have minimum side effects otherwise it can cause complications during pregnancy and delivery. If you are unable to discuss your problem with the doctor frankly then you can choose any other person who is aware of your situation and showing any interest to help you.

Depression and anxiety may not be diagnosed because pregnant women often do not give serious consideration to their feelings, and simply take it for granted as normal mood changes during pregnancy. So when you are depressed, do not feel ashamed to tell the doctor. Mental health is as important as physical health. In fact, mood changes will also affect your health.

Pregnancy Signs And Symptoms

Motherhood is a unique and beautiful experience of life. Every woman desires to go through this phase. It has its own share of joys and difficulties. The happiness of bringing a new family member overcomes the difficulties.

Of course you have probably been trying out some old wives tales in an effort to get pregnant so here are a few that signify pregnancy: if your own or other peoples kids are showing you more affection then you are likely pregnant, if your cats cant keep themselves away from you and are constantly purring on your chest you are probably pregnant, and if you are having more nightmares that usual it is a sign you might be pregnant.

On conceiving, within a week or two you may feel tired very quickly. There is a loss of energy and you start feeling tired even with your usual daily activities. You may hit the bed earlier than usual and also prefer small energy naps. However, you can conserve energy by including a healthy diet.

If you have tracked your menstrual cycle very carefully, you may be able to pick out abnormalities in how and when certain symptoms occur. For instance, if you know about when you ovulated and it’s possible you could have conceived during that time, you may be able to spot implantation bleeding through our tracking. Typically spotting that occurs about ten days after conception, it is caused by the fertilized egg implanting in your uterus.

Swollen or tender breasts: Perhaps, this is the first sign of pregnancy by which many women confirm conception. The reason for this sign is with the breasts undergoing physical changes for the ensuing breastfeeding. Some women may feel pain at the breasts or nipples if it is the first pregnancy.

Heightened sense of taste and smell - There may be a change in your preferences as far as food is concerned. A change in taste is quite common during pregnancy. Women often end up disliking things they loved before pregnancy. An increased sense of smell and taste may cause aversions and cravings for certain food items. Some women also experience a metallic taste in their mouth during this phase.

If these signs and symptoms are accompanied by a missed period, there's a strong likelihood that you are pregnant. However, you cannot be too presumptuous. The best thing to do at this point is to buy a home pregnancy kit to find out for sure, and then do the home pregnancy test twice. If the result is positive every time, consult with a doctor whom you trust. He may recommend that you undergo a blood test to confirm the diagnosis.

As you can see many of these symptoms mimic what many women feel just before their periods begin every month. Most symptoms do not show up until around the time that you would miss a period. That's why if you suspect that you're pregnant is really is best to wait until a pregnancy test can detect the hormonal levels. Some home pregnancy tests are now able to detect the hormone levels even before you miss a period.

Brown implantation bleeding is the color of old blood. When you get brown implantation bleeding it normally means that when the fertilized egg buried it way into the womb, a little blood was released. The bleeding that occurred at the moment of implantation stayed in the womb for some time so by the time you see it on your underwear or when you wipe yourself it showed up as brown implantation bleeding.

Missed miscarriage – Some women have a miscarriage prior to knowing that they are pregnant. A missed miscarriage is characterized when the fetus died but there remains no expulsion of the embryo. The causes for this are oftentimes undetermined. Most women who experience a missed miscarriage claim that the lose pregnancy symptoms and the fetal heartbeat at some point of their pregnancy.

After the incident, many women would feel jealous of other pregnant women and mothers with new babies. These feelings are normal, but they will certainly not make grieving women feel better. Women who have just experienced miscarriage need some time on their own; they need to grieve for their loss. They will most likely undergo the five stages of grief, which are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Some families and friends may provide comfort. Some of them may never relate to the feelings of the mother, especially those who have never experienced a loss and they can cause additional stress.
